Drivers

Luna Delivery Inc. is an independent last-mile delivery contractor and is looking for drivers in the Tampa and New Port Richey areas.

Successful candidates are self-motivated, hardworking, quick thinking, have grit and excel in a team environment!

The starting wage is $15 per hour, which is paid through training.

Drivers are also paid bonuses based on their productivity. Including bonuses driver wages average $21 per hour and the most productive drivers can earn over $30 per hour.

We are open to a variety of schedules. Please submit your availability in your response.

Note that new hires are expected to work at least one day on the weekend.

Preferred experience includes 6 months of verifiable professional driving experience within the last 3 years or 5 years of verifiable experience within the last 10 years.

Food delivery, rideshare, and landscaping drivers are encouraged to apply! CDL is not required.

This position has the following requirements:

Pass background check, drug screen and DOT physical

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

21 years of age or over

Able to lift 70 pounds

High school diploma or equivalent

Authorized to work in the United States



Operation Manager

Luna Delivery Inc. is an independent last-mile delivery contractor and is looking for an Associate Operations Manager in the Tampa area.

The successful candidate will be self motivated, hardworking, quick thinking, have grit and excel in promoting a team environment.

The typical workday begins at 7:30 AM where the Associate Operations Manager oversees dispatch and ensures that all drivers are equipped to carry out their deliveries and pickups.

Paperwork is then completed which includes verification of the prior day's work and resolving customer complaints and disputes. Throughout the day, the Associate Operations Manager is responsible for completing other tasks as listed below, providing assistance to drivers, and completing observation rides to ensure that drivers are performing their work in compliance with laws and best practices. The typical workday ends with creating the route plan for the following day.

We operate 7 days per week and expect the Associate Operations Manager to work with the team to ensure that management is present every day to resolve issues. Compensation is salaried at $32,000 / year. Qualifications and job responsibilities for this position are listed below.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or management

5 years experience in management or engineering.

Fluent in English and Spanish

Professional driving experience

Job Responsibilities

Perform route planning & optimization

Create weekly driver schedule

Oversee dispatch at terminal

Schedule and document fleet maintenance

Create contingency plans

Resolve delivery complaints & disputes

Perform and document observation rides with drivers

Prepare reports for payroll

Recruit and hire drivers

Provide training for new drivers & remedial training as needed

Ensure compliance with laws & best practices

Document performance and safety issues
